Claudia Malone started with Perma-Seal in October 2019. After spending time training in the Appointment Center, Claudia joined the Customer Service team. In her short time as a member of the Perma-Seal Tribe, she has already made significant contributions with her can-do attitude and a deep rooted drive to serve clients with superior service and attention to detail.
“Claudia is always positive and ready to step up to help make the world a better place. Her work ethic is top notch, and you can always count on her to do what is right for all,” said Kimberly, Claudia’s manager. “She keeps us on our toes with her sense of urgency and her drive to take care of clients.”
Claudia started as a Perma-Seal client in 2010 when she and her husband purchased an entire drain tile system along with a sump pump & battery back-up. Flashforward to 2019, Claudia had a service call to her home and Perma-Seal’s founder, Roy Spencer, happened to be riding along. Already a loyal customer, Claudia remained impressed with the way Perma-Seal conducted business and her conversation with Roy that morning. By the end of the visit, Claudia decided to apply for an open position and the rest is history.

What do you enjoy about your role at Perma-Seal?
I love that I can connect with our customers as a first line of communication and help them work towards a permanent solution for their home.
What motivates you to live Perma-Seal’s Core Values?
I was raised with the same values that Perma-Seal is led by so it was a natural fit from day one. I feel lucky to work for an organization that lives and breaths its Core Values every day.
What has been your favorite charitable event that you’ve been a part of with Perma-Seal?
The Feed My Starving Children event in February was the first service project I have been a part of since joining Perma-Seal. It was a tremendous feeling to contribute to a worthy cause with the my Perma-Seal Tribe by my side.
Hometown? What do you love about it?
I grew up in Chicago and currently live in Evergreen Park. Chicago is a beautiful city filled with diverse neighborhoods and gorgeous architecture. I love being on the water and the backdrop of the lake front. And the food! What’s not to love?!
Favorite sports team?
Blackhawks all the way. My father was a huge hockey fan so I grew up with a love of the sport.
What do you enjoy doing for fun?
I am all about the beach. Perhaps I was a mermaid in my previous life. I also enjoy the mountains and spending time outdoors. I love a good party and spending time with friends and family. And reading, I love reading. A good mystery, sappy love story, or historical fiction are my go-to’s.
Anything you’d like to share about your family?
My husband and I will celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary this October. Our home is filled with love, a lot of laughter, encouragement, and faith. We have two adult children that I simply adore. My son Lucas is 28 and lives in Chicago, and our daughter, Carolyn, is 27 years old and is thriving in the Florida sun in Fort Myers.
