Every decision we make and interaction we have is led by our six Core Values and that includes the actions we take to create a workplace that is energetic and fun. We inspire creativity, optimism, and fun is one part of the culture at Perma-Seal. Let’s take a look back at the last few weeks of baseball, BBQ, and memories.
Before fall crept in, we capped off summer with a fun filled day of baseball. Tribal members headed to the Kane County Cougars game for an afternoon of baseball, laughter, food, and fun. Not only did we have the opportunity to strengthen relationships with our fellow Tribal members, but our families were a part of the day too, making it extra special.
Food feeds the soul, and that is exactly what our BBQ and football Friday celebration did! Our tailgate style BBQ dished out burgers and hot dogs with all the fixings. Sprinkled in amongst all the Chicago Bears gear, the Green Bay Packers, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Dallas Cowboys were represented.
The week of September 12 we celebrated Hispanic Heritage month with fun daily trivia questions to learn more about Hispanic culture. The week also included digital highfives through our Workplace platform. With over half our Tribe working in the field, Workplace gives Tribal members a way to connect through encouraging messages, helpful tips, and funny memes throughout the day.
As the temperatures begin to dip, even if just barely, it marks the start of soup season. September was capped off with the most delicious soup contest. The featured soups included Toscana by Patty, Pozole by Bridgette, Gnocchi by Lisa, and Chicken Noodle by Natalie. Each soup was unique and tasty but there could only be one winner. Drumroll…. Bridgette took home the top prize of fan favorite!
With October underway, there is sure to be more fall fun and spooky Halloween surprises. Stay tuned!
