He followed up after the appointment asking if I had any more questions- I felt that the follow was beyond what he needed to do and I appreciated the thoughtfulness. 5 stars!

We are very pleased with the purchase of the Basement Defender by Perma Seal. We had a vulnerable spot in our basement, and we felt we needed a reliable backup sump pump system. In the past, Perma Seal did several projects for us, and we were extremely satisfied with all of them, so that’s why we chose Perma Seal again.

First of all, the installation and setup that Geo provided was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable about the product, answered all our questions and doubts, and acted as a total professional in every regard. He was even available for calls and other inquiries we had after the installation – calling back promptly and even stopping by a few days after to check on things and to explain a few more things about the product operation.

Secondly, the technical support that David provided was equally amazing. The day after the installation, we experienced an actual power failure! And being worried about the performance of a brand new pump system, David responded immediately to our call and walked us through the procedure to verify that the backup system was indeed operational. He is another outstanding professional employed by Perma Seal, and we appreciate his compassion to call us back promptly and patiently work us through the steps.

Lastly, the Basement Defender itself seems to be an excellent product. Its built-in redundant pump and backup battery are well designed and very practical. In addition, the ability to test and monitor the dual pump system daily will facilitate diagnosis of problems or prevent problems from happening in the first place. The robust design of this system and technical support that is available by Perma Seal certainly gives us “peace of mind.”

My family and I had the pleasure of working with a great team for the installation of our flood control system. The entire crew was great. Manny, who completed the electrical work, took the time to troubleshoot some issues that came up and communicated with us throughout the process. Gilberto and his team completed the excavation and plumbing side of the job. Gilberto and team were communicative and transparent throughout the process. They even discovered we had been overcharged during the initial contracting process and worked to adjust our overall loan amount. We would glady recommend this team.

From beginning to end this has been a wonderful experience…Ken and his survey of the problem and estimate (see my previous review for Ken Allan Laundie) to Lisa Kapun and her help navigating the execution of documents, scheduling and financing and then finally the fantastic crew that did the installation. Pedro the crew chief was very considerate, punctual, called ahead of time of arrival, explained what was to be done on the days they would be there, kept me informed and answered all of my questions. Manny, the electrician was fantastic…he was punctual as well, did not rush the job, he assessed the situation, came up with a plan, explained the process, was clean and tidy in my home and did a terrific job. He explained everything when he was done, showed me how everything worked and gave me parting instruction. The whole crew was friendly, tidy, hard-working, respectful of my home and property and did their best to leave my yard in almost the same way as they found it…which is kinda hard to do when you are digging up a huge whole, installing the system and then trying to fill it back up. Victor, Clemente, Marco and Usbaldo were great guys, very kind and hard working. I was amazed to watch the whole crew work together. They had a great rhythm, worked well together, it was as if they had all been working together their whole lives. I will now have a relationship with Permaseal for as long as I occupy my home and am very comfortable going forward that everyone that comes out for yearly checkups will be as professional and terrific as all these guys were. I would recommend this company to anyone especially if you want some peace of mind going forward about your basement and it staying dry.

Well informed survey of my problems concerning water leaks.

Mauriano and Mauro did a great job repairing cracks in my basement foundation. Their work is professional and thorough. I am relieved to have these cracks in the foundation gone. They left the entire work area so clean it was hard to believe all that was done without dirt and dust everywhere. I highly recommend a business that hires men as capable as Maurino and Mauro! Great concern for the customer!

Ramon D.and his assistant JL Duron came to my house on 3/1/19 answering a service call. I had water seepage in basement due to a foun dation crack. I’ve used PermaSeal a few times over the years to repair some foundation cracks. Vicente contacted me prior to arrival and was very polite and punctual, which I greatly appreciated. After a brief discussion with him to better educate myself, he was very open about my repair options and future possibilities should additional work need to be done. After that he went to work and knocked everything out pretty quickly. We reviewed everything that was done and he was on his way. You can’t help but respect a person who comes in, educates you and does his job with great customer service skills. This has become a lot art form. Thank you

I had major seepage problems, the crew that came and did the work were excellent. They jackhammered my basement floor and installed a new sump pump basin and sump pump and installed a French drain beneath my foundation. They kept the mess to minimal and worked very hard. I also had 2 minor problems after the work and Permaseal did come back and address them both. My problem is with the salesperson, Jim A. he was very responsive until I signed on the dotted line. I am still waiting to get a paid copy of my invoice and when I signed off on the job at the end of the day the crew chief said that they would come back in spring to finish the outside because my work was being done in the middle of January, sounded fine with me. Now nobody seems be able to verify this and are saying that it is an extra charge, really? I was sold a complete project from start to finish per Jim. Now I can’t even get him to respond. In addition, he gave me poor information on two points of my basement project that could have been major problems if the Permaseal crews had not corrected his direction.

My patience paid off. The first technician Perma-Seal sent out for service didn’t seem to have a clue of what he was doing. Nothing got done, in part because I felt it best to have another technician do the work. Trusting in the reputation Perma-Seal has established for themselves, I waited it out for another technician at a later date. I was so right!!! I haven’t had a drop of leakage in my basement ever since.

Howard installed a new water heater and replaced the ejection pump. He worked professionally, answered questions, and cleaned up the work area.Manuel worked quickly repairing a crack in the basement wall. He remembered working at our home when Perma-seal installed the basement waterproofing. We have a Perma-seal preventative maintenance agreement to ensure we do not have any water problems. We have only had good experiences with the Perma-seal employees.

Jorge Paredes was very professional and answered all my questions and concerns. I decided to go ahead with the repair of foundation cracks. I am looking forward to a dry basement again.

I had Eric come out last week for a free estimate about the water/sump pump continuously running in my basement and I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE!!!! Eric was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and helpful in diagnosing the cause of my water concerns. He called me directly to confirm his arrival time that day, showed up on time, and honestly couldn’t have been more helpful. As it turned out- I did not have the water problem I thought I did, and did not need to schedule service, but you can believe that I will be calling Permaseal AND ERIC (!) next time I do! Thank you for running such a professional and compassionate operation.

Gene showed up promptly for our annual inspection maintenance. He notice that the pumps were too close together and the PVC from the pump area was crooked. He straightened everything out, and the pump is quieter and working nicely. He was professional and courteous, and did an efficient job. Highly recommended.

Sump pump quit working. Replaced under warranty. Matt said a separate circuit world be advisable. Put a new box in, ran conduit across entire basement to pump. Matt did a fantastic job and I wouldn’t hesitate to call again for any problem in the future.

We needed to have a new water leakage on the basement floor checked and Ramon Duron couldn’t have been more thorough and efficient in diagnosing and then explaining the possible causes of the leak and then checking and replacing the sump pump back-up battery and water level alarm. He is an asset to your company and will be asking for him by name for any further work. Fair pricing and a great job!

After the gas company changed pipes on my property, several sections of my sidewalk were not level. Since they are on not the city’s property, they were
not fixed. Cecil Payne came when I called for an estimate. He was friendly and did the measuring on the sections of sidewalk that needed work. He was
most informative and explained what needed to be done. Pictures on his laptop indicated the different options that I had for addressing the problem. I
decided to have the work done, and he was able to schedule a date next month. His professionalism leads me to believe that the work will be done
properly and reflects well on your company.
