Antonio was my tech today. He was able to come early, so he called me to see if that would work for me, which was great. He arrived at the time we arranged. Antonio is a great communicator, which really made me feel comfortable and respected – something that matters to me very much. He explained everything he was doing clearly, without talking down to me. It was a great load off my mind to have the service done, and to understand more about the system, now that I’ve had it for a year. Just like George, and the people who installed the system, Antonio was not only very professional, but very friendly, and cared enough to make sure I understood how everything works. Extremely upset and disappointed with our service. We had some water issues in our basement and were told that this was caused by hydrostatic pressure and that drain tile would 100% solve our issue, and if it didn’t, we had a lifetime guaranty covering us if we ever got water again. We had the system installed in January 2023 and it seemed to be working, but during heavy storms last weekend (September 2023) we once again got water in our newly finished basement in the same exact spots. After fighting to get someone from PermaSeal to come out a few days later (they originally told me it would be over a week before they send someone), they said that the drain tile system is working fine and that the guaranty only relates to the drain tile system working and proceeded to recommend we reach out to a plumber to see if there’s an old sewer line or pipe underneath the ground that could be causing the issue. I was shocked at the suggestion that this burden should be on us and that we should have to pay to have a plumber come out when this was never brought up as a possibility when we originally had the basement inspected and signed the contract.

So we are now sitting with water still in our basement and are probably developing mold with a newborn baby in the house and PermaSeal has taken no responsibility. We were sold a bag of goods and paid $12k for a drain tile system that did not solver our problem and now PermaSeal isn’t living up to their promise or alleged guaranty now that we actually have water and is instead claiming that there is a separate issue that was never mentioned before. If this isn’t rectified we will absolutely be leaving this review everywhere and spreading this message to friends and family in the area, as well as pursuing any available recourse.

My Basement needs waterproofing….Perma-Seal sent (DAVE) to my home to Explain what I needed to do. He was on time knowledgeable not Pushy & very professional…I’m not 100% certain but I do believe Perma-Seal will be very Hard to beat

Terrible terrible service . Four thousand dollars for one tiny wall not even the length of the house .It appears like nothing was done at all water in the same spot . Asked to talk to Supervisor in charge they refused .Please do not make the mistake I did they sent the same person back he was trying to get me to pay for another wall when there is no water . Rip -off terrible place . So sorry I went with them .

Nick Liguras came out to give us a quote and was very professional and patient with my questions and concerns. He spent time measuring and checking every part of the bid.

Howard installed a new water heater and replaced the ejection pump. He worked professionally, answered questions, and cleaned up the work area.Manuel worked quickly repairing a crack in the basement wall. He remembered working at our home when Perma-seal installed the basement waterproofing. We have a Perma-seal preventative maintenance agreement to ensure we do not have any water problems. We have only had good experiences with the Perma-seal employees.

Our recent visit from Jorge P. was extremely helpful and informative, as he took the time to explain the extent of the undisclosed foundation damage and water damage to our recently purchased home, and was also kind enough to look over some of our paperwork, and patient enough to make sure that we thoroughly understood. Jose L Duvon recently came to fix a crack in the foundation of my basement. He was very professional, polite, friendly and seemed knowledgeable. I am now hoping I will not need the services of Perma Seal in the future. Crossing my fingers and saying a prayer.

Would like to thank Matt Tomfohrde who came to my home to wire in a separate breaker for my new Sump Pump. Not only did he do the wiring in a quick time frame also relabeled my electric panel for me. This is a good safety measure. He explained everything for me and labeled my panel as to know what switches are used for. Did a good job for me. Thank You

Allen Laundie was efficient in checking to ensure that my sump pump was functioning properly in this bitter cold weather. He also was thorough in explaining to me the importance of having a back up sump pump which will be installed next week.

Allen Laundie was our technician and he was a pleasure to have working on our home. He was friendly and polite upon arrival and explained his background and expertise. He evaluated both of the sump pumps in our small condo building. When one was found to be not functioning, he was able to replace it on the spot, which was really helpful and convenient! The other, while functioning, was old, so he provided the information I needed to bring back to our small condo association to consider replacement. In addition, he revised his estimate for backup pumps down after evaluating our existing set up- when does that happen? Because of our location, the completely dry condition of our existing pumps and because we haven’t had water in the basement ever, he determined we could safely go with a smaller backup than is the usual recommendation, which would really save us money! We were unable to do the camera exam of the sewer line because of an extremely old catch basin set up, but Allen explained how we could do the exam at another time if we had access to one of the basement unit’s stacks. Allen was great to work with, polite and friendly, and provided me with a lot of valuable information. I would be happy to work with him and Perma Seal in the future!

Matt Tomfohrde service tech arrived at my home in the time frame promised. He check out my old system and determined that it was failing and told me he recommend replacing the pumps. He was every Knowledgeable and discussed my options with me. I decided to have both pumps replaced along new batteries for the back up system. I would recommend him and his company to do any work at my home.

Perfecto, Leopoldo and Alejandro were punctual, courteous, professional and very pleasant. They examined my 10-year old pump and determined it needed to be replaced as well as the bubbler pot that was broken. They were efficient and showed me the completed work so I was aware of exactly what was done. Great people.
