I want to thank the guys who were here on-time and responsive. They arrived and completed the job, cleaned the space and followed-up after the work. We had record rain the following night and I was extremely concerned. I did not get any water in my basement AT ALL! My spouse and I are so happy as it comes with a life-time warranty. Nick provided comprehensive background about how a back up sump pump would meet our needs. Ramon installed the back up sump pump. He kept me informed about what he would do, how the system works, and advised me well on what next steps to take for setting up the Basement Defender. Overall, they both provided a great service.

In our church building we have been having problems with doors sticking, some to the point of being jammed. I called PermaSeal to find out if the building was having a problem with the slab foundation. John Ferguson came to our building to prepare an estimate. After a walk around the building, John could see that there was nothing wrong with the foundation. However, John proceed to come inside and thoroughly examine the interior. He checked to see that both the floor and walls were plumb. He also gave a couple suggestions on what to do about the doors. John was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly; a pleasure to deal with. There was good news delivered by a man who actually seemed to enjoy his job.

The team of Perma-Seal employees who oversaw and completed this project were impressive from start to finish. After visiting my home they explained in great detail what had to be done to prevent water and sewer backups from heavy storms. The staff scheduled and kept all appointments needed to plan the actual work, started it on the promised date and finished the many steps involved in the scheduled three days. And the company provides post project services when needed. I look forward to flood free days.

James was right on time, was professional and efficient. he explained what he did and the status of our system.

My husband and I entered into a contract to purchase a 1922 Chicago bungalow. We and our real estate agent were concerned because we all saw what we thought might be evidence of water seepage, and we did not know if it was present or past. Our home inspector found six foundation cracks in the basement but ultimately did not make much of it and suggested an additional gutter drain spout and grading dirt away from the foundation. We were not comfortable with our inspector’s recommendations and contacted Perma-Seal. The homeowners were very strict about accessing the house. Michael Kulis made sure to accommodate the homeowners’ requirements, arrived on time, and immediately got to work. He was very thorough, as well as being informative throughout. Ultimately Michael found eleven foundation cracks as well as evidence of past water seepage and present infiltration. He prepared three proposals to remedy the problems and, because we intended to live in the house for years to come, we chose the middle proposal to set our minds at ease for the future. We presented a request to the sellers for a credit at closing which would enable us to have Perma-Seal correct the foundation problems after closing, but the sellers refused and we were able to get out of the contract. Thank you, Michael Kulis, for your professionalism and thoroughness. We were able to avoid some real unwanted problems.

I would like to recognize the hard work and dedication of Lisa Kapoun and John Ferguson. Their willingness to put in the extra effort to assist with my foundation repair project was unmatched. Lisa had to complete a ton of paperwork to satisfy the lender needs for this real estate deal. John would return phone calls on Sundays, even respond on Father’s Day. John put everyone at ease with his knowledge and easy to understand explanation of the project. Lisa and John gave me as a seller great confidence in PermaSeal.
